She gives a riveting presentation of the scientific proof that the pill kills women and babies, and how it does so.

Det betyder att om det inte finns något ägg, så finns det heller inget för spermien att befrukta. (min notering, Steg 2: )Gestagenet gör så att livmoderhalssekretet tjocknar vilket hindrar det från att tunnas ut. Det blir då nästintill omöjligt för spermien att tränga in i livmodern.

Samtidigt så hindrar även gestagenet livmoderslemhinnan från att utvecklas. Det innebär att även i extremt sällsynta fall då ett ägg har frigjorts och spermien har lyckats befrukta det, (min notering, Steg 3, aborterande: )så kan ändå inte ägget fästa sig själv in till livmoderväggen och kan därför inte växa.
